I’m Kylee—a stay-at-home mama to two sweet kiddos: Magnus (6) and Maybel (5). I homeschool and dream big about building a cozy homestead. I feel so grateful that we get to learn and live life together every day.

We left Indiana in 2016 for a Vermont adventure—lived in a camper for a bit, embraced the slow and simple, and soaked up life wherever we were planted. In November 2023, we made our way back to Indiana with full hearts and fresh perspectives.
​
Maybel was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes just before her first birthday in April 2021, and in August 2024, we officially began fundraising for a diabetic alert dog, aka “sugar dog."​
​
I started Maybel’s Journey to help spread T1D awareness and raise funds for Maybel’s diabetic alert dog. The MJ Jewelry Line is a special branch of that mission—something creative and hands-on that Maybel and I do together. She dreams up the designs, and I bring them to life, each handmade piece helping us get one step closer to her sugar dog.

I’m new to blogging and fundraising, but I’m learning as I go and giving it my all. I’m just a mom turning beads and charms into hope, one bracelet at a time.
